Georgia Tech picked up a second transfer for the basketball team in as many days adding former Western Michigan forward Kellen McCormick to the fold.

McCormick the son of former Atlanta Hawk center Tim McCormick arrives in Atlanta as a graduate transfer and he has one year of immediate eligibility left. The six-foot-eight 215-pound sharpshooter averaged six points a game as a junior with a 45.8-percent mark from three in 14.8 minutes per game.

With McCormick and Jodan Price, the Jackets are one shy of a full scholarship load for the 2016-17.

The late pickups will help bring some veteran presence to a young Jacket squad that features only four rotation players from the 2015-16 team, Tadric Jackson, Quinton Stephens, Josh Heath and Ben Lammers who had a combined 36 starters last year.
