Pastner hires former Portland coach

Georgia Tech basketball coach Josh Pastner has reportedly hired his second assistant coach for his new staff. Former Portland basketball coach Eric Reveno.

Reveno coached the Pilots from 2006-16 and worked for Stanford from 1997 to 2006 as an assistant coach for Mike Montgomery and then his successor Trent Johnson for his final two seasons with the Cardinal. Reveno played for Stanford in the late 1980s and played in Japan from 1989 to 1993. As a head coach he compiled at 140-178 record in the West Coast Conference with 4 CIT berths.

Reveno joins Darryl LaBarrie on the new Yellow Jacket staff. Pastner still has one more assistant spot to fill along with a director of player personnel spot.
